How to find out the server to connect to the database?

This information is available in your control panel and depends on the server of your hosting account.

Go to the tab [MYSQL][1] -> [DATABASES][2], then pay attention to the block [INFO][3]:

— for remote connections (various utilities, command line), use the host name of your hosting server, which is specified in the [Server for remote connection] line; — for local connection of site scripts to the database, you can use the simplified option in the [Server for site connection] line;
