How do I change the NS record for my domain?

If the CityHost company is the registrar of your domain name, to change the NS record you need:

  1. Go to section:
    [cp.cityhost.ua -- Domains -- Management -- NS servers -- Edit]

  2. Specify the NS servers you need in the "New NS servers" block:

Please note: synchronization of NS servers of Internet providers is a long process that takes place up to 72 hours after the NS domain change.

For the possibility of installing third-party NS-servers in the format: subdomain.domain_name.zone, the presence of glue-records on the registry side is a prerequisite. In the absence of this record, you will receive the corresponding error "The object does not exist" . Only its registrar can add glue-records for a domain.
