On August 1, 2024, the rates for some Cityhost services — hosting, dedicated, and virtual servers — will be increased.
- The cost of hosting will increase by an average of 20%
- The cost of VPS rental will rise by 15%
- Dedicated servers will become 15% more expensive
Until August 1, 2024, you can extend services at the current rates.
One of the main factors influencing the cost of our services is electricity. In just the past six months, the cost of electricity for legal entities has almost doubled.
The cost is also affected by the price of components produced abroad, which depends on foreign currency exchange rates that have been rising compared to previous periods.
We postponed the price increase as much as we could. For example, the last time we raised the cost of server rentals was over a year and a half ago — in December 2022. The cost of hosting was increased in December 2023.
Despite all challenges, Cityhost continues to maintain a high level of service and constantly improves the quality of services. Every month we implement system updates, regularly upgrade servers, and use components only from trusted suppliers. Reliability and uninterrupted service are one of the main principles of our work. Therefore, we cannot skimp on equipment and its updates, server maintenance, and fair compensation for specialists who work daily to ensure that your websites and internet projects continue to run smoothly.
To learn more about the principles of forming the cost of hosting provider services, you can read the article published in 2022 when the previous rate increase occurred.
Although our services have partially increased in price, you can continue to save with Cityhost by using the maximum of our discount and bonus programs. You can find out more about them in this publication.
