Which control panel to choose?

Consider the possibilities of control panels for VDS / DS - Vesta CP and Hestia CP

__________________________________________________________________________________________________

Vesta is a free and open source control panel.

Automatically installed together with the operating system when ordering:

  • - Ubuntu 18
  • - Debian 9

Can be installed manually on OS:

  • - CentOS 5, 6, 7.
  • - Debian 7, 8, 9.
  • - Ubuntu 12.04-18.14.

What is included:

  1. Apache, Nginx.
  2. Exim mail server.
  3. Availability of cron task scheduler.
  4. Built-in firewall that supports antivirus, as well as anti-spam applications ClamAV and SpamAssassin.
  5. MySQL 5.5.
  6. FTP server (Vsftpd).
  7. DNS server.
  8. Perl, Python and PHP support.
  9. Load monitoring

Convenient and simple interface, most of the necessary parameters can be set by simply selecting a checkbox.

For most CMS, this is quite enough, but if you need to configure the server to work with additional components that are not presented in the PU web interface, knowledge of the command line will be required. Also, work with files is not done in the control panel itself, but through the console or through local FTP programs.
