First login and activation of FastPanel license

After installing the server and attempting to log into the control panel, the developers of this control panel provided a licensing process. Fortunately, the licensing process is quite simple and, most importantly, free; all you need to do is:

 

1. From the email «Cityhost - virtual server ready to work», click the link to access the control panel FASTPANEL: http://YourIP:8888

 

After clicking, the browser may show a message “Your connection is not private”. In this case, click: Advanced Proceed to YourIP (unsafe)

 

After that, a page will open: https://YourIP:8888/licensing/activation with a license activation window. Click the «LICENSE.ACTIVATE» button.

 

 

2. The FASTPANEL authorization page will open. To create a new account, click the Sign Up button.

 

 

3. In the Email field, enter your email address, agree to the Privacy Policy and License Agreement, then click the Sign up button.

 

 

4. An email with access details to FASTPANEL will be sent to the specified email address: the login page address, login (Email), password.

 

 

5. You will also receive an email with the subject “FASTPANEL Billing – Email confirmation”. Click the link in the email to confirm your email address.

 

 

6. On the authorization page, enter the Email provided during registration and the password from the email.

 

After that, click the Login button.

 

7. After logging in, the page will open: Main → Order → FASTPANEL license

 

In the “Standart license Free” block, click the Add to Cart button.

 

 

8. A window with the title “IP address” will appear.

 

 

9. In the field: “The IP address of the server to which the license will be installed”, enter your server's IP address.

 

The field: “Private IP address of the server to which the license will be installed” should be left empty.

 

After that, click the Checkout button.

 

 

10. The Cart page will open, where you need to click the Submit order button.

 

 

11. The Invoices page will open - this means that the license order has been successfully completed.

 

After that, the FASTPANEL site can be closed.

 

 

12. Return to the page: https://YourIP:8888/licensing/activation and click the «Check status» button.

 

 

13. After a successful check, the authorization page will open: https://YourIP:8888/authentication

 

In the upper right corner, a message will appear: “LICENSE.ACTIVATION_SUCCESS”

 

This means that the license has been successfully activated.

 

Now you can log into the server management panel using the access details from the email «Cityhost - virtual server ready to work».
