How to set up a connection to the VNC console?

After connecting VNC to your server following the procedure - [How to connect VNC for VDS (VPS)]

An email with access data to VNC will be sent to your registration email within 15 minutes in the following format:

[1] - host (server) to which connection is required;
[2] - connection port to the server;
[3] - password for VNC connection;

You can use any convenient VNC client to connect.

Below is a step-by-step guide for the TigerVNC program, which can be downloaded via [link].

Step 1. Launch the program and enter server data

Install and launch TigerVNC.

In the main window, in the "VNC Server" field, enter the server address and port separated by a colon in the format host:port.

Example: vps20.cityhost.com.ua:5909

After that, click the Connect button

Step 2. Entering the password

In the VNC Authentication window, enter the password from the email in the Password field and click the OK button.

Note: The warning on a red background "This connection is not secure" is standard for the VNC protocol and indicates that the traffic within the session is not additionally encrypted. This is normal for accessing the server console.

Step 3. Working with the server console

After successful authentication, a console window will open. The standard operating system prompt for entering login and password will appear in the window. You can now manage the server, even if the network is not configured on it or access via SSH is blocked.

when using VNC copy and paste keys do not work, all necessary data must be entered manually;
only one active VNC session can exist;
to reboot the server you can use the combination [CTRL + ALT + DEL];
