Verification of domains in international domain zones (com, net, biz, etc.)

When working with a domain in an international domain zone (com, net, biz, art, space, etc.), users face a situation when the domain stops working, and its NS servers are installed as follows:

ns1.verification-hold.suspended-domain.com

ns2.verification-hold.suspended-domain.com

This situation indicates that the domain was blocked at the registry level because it did not pass email address verification. Registries in international domain zones, after domain registration, send a letter with a link to the verification of personal data of the registrant (domain owner), in particular, the validity of the specified email is checked. Such a procedure is mandatory and is a feature of international domains.

If you encountered a situation when your domain stopped working and you for some reason did not undergo verification, you need to check the box that was specified in the profile when registering the domain. A letter with a confirmation link for domain verification is sent by the registrar on the day of domain name registration. Check if this letter is in your mail, follow the link and your domain will be up and running within 24 hours (in most cases - faster)

If you cannot find this letter or if you specified the wrong box when creating a profile, which was indicated as the owner of the domain during its registration, then contact support with a request at the address support@cityhost.net.ua so that our specialists can check the situation and receive further consultation.
