Since December 21, 2012, the cURL* library and the url_file_open function have been disabled on the note, accent and knopka virtual hosting servers. This is done in order to increase the security of files placed on the server. Our specialists analyzed cases of hacking of client sites that use CMS Joomla, Wordpress, etc., and established that attackers use the cURL module and the url_file_open function.
These features are now closed by default. If these functions are necessary for the operation of your site's scripts, notify the technical support service. Our staff will connect one or another php function directly for your account, but you should be informed about the possibility of hacking your scripts. In the request to the support address, indicate the login of the hosting account and a link to the control panel of your hosting.
*cURL (Client URL Library) — a library that allows you to make remote requests to the server and transfer information using HTTPS, FTP, FTPS, etc. protocols. cURL can be used to retrieve content from the specified page.
