Starting at 9:30 a.m. today, the company's server was subjected to a massive DDoS attack, due to which your sites could take a long time to load in the browser, give 500 errors or not open at all. This was due to a large number of incoming traffic packets, which greatly overloaded the channel and prevented the normal operation of resources.
Our engineers took all the necessary measures to eliminate DDoS and normalize the sites. The fight against the attack was carried out in a combined way - both with software and hardware.
DDoS is currently ongoing. Thanks to the actions taken, we managed to reduce its power by about 7 times. Our system administrators and engineers continue to monitor network traffic activity and restore server availability. After the functionality of all services is fully restored, the security service of the hosting provider CityHost.ua will investigate the reasons for its occurrence.
